American Kennel Club Breeder of Merit

Welcome to El Corazon Kennels!  We are located in Waller, Texas which is about 30 miles west of Houston.  We raise and breed English Cocker Spaniels as a hobby because we enjoy their personalities so much and because they are wonderful little dogs to hunt over. We are not professional trainers but we do start our puppies with the basics and have them very well socialized  before we send them  to Glencoe Farms in Bismarck, North Dakota.  They stay there for about a year and have hundreds of birds shot over them.  We have been very satisfied with the results of doing it this way.  We have imported a number of dogs from England,  the best being  Megan who  won the British National Championship in 2003.  She then won the American Cocker National Championship that same year being handled by Paul McGagh.  We also imported Megan's full sister, Midge, who won the National Championship this year being handled by my husband A.R.    We have several Field Trial Champions, including Monty, who is the 1st Amateur Field Trial Champion and also the 2006 High Point Amateur Dog.    

We have a lot of fun with our dogs and  have enjoyed  the people we have met and become friends with at the Field Trials.  Hope you enjoy the website.  Ollie and A.R. Ginn
